Calling all Maple Valley (and beyond) families!
Maple Valley Creative Arts Council has a special opportunity for local youth writers. 8 finalists will be chosen to have their work rehearsed with a professional director and cast and preformed live. Submissions are due May 20th - don't sit on this unique opportunity!
Who:
Local youth in grades 6 to 12.
What:
Original play 10 to 12 minutes in length. Work must be family friendly and age appropriate. Genres accepted include drama, comedy, fantasy, sci-fi, adventure, and fable. Cast size should be limited to 2 - 5.
Where/When:
Plays will be preformed live at the Playwrights Festival in November 2024.
