The free Scout Night 2024 is coming up in Renton!
Renton Regional Fire Authority (RRFA) and the Renton Police Department (RPD) are teaming up for Scout Night with a few great changes and additions this year:
- You don't have to be a scout to participate! Anyone in 5th grade or under is welcome to these fun, educational learning stations.
- Attendees will now earn a special Scout Night badge and other safety swag.

NEW IN 2024: Earn a free Scout Night patch for attending! SCOUT NIGHT IS NO LONGER JUST FOR SCOUTS! All scout groups and community members up to 5th grade are welcome to attend and participate in the public safety activities. Participants will rotate through fun and educational learning stations designed to help them fulfill badge requirements and gain general knowledge in the areas of:
- Firefighter and law enforcement tools, equipment, and careers
- Emergency Preparedness
- 9 -1-1
- Home fire escape planning
- Basic first aid
- Knot tying
- Home Safety
- Poison prevention
- Bike and Water Safety
- DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration)
- Child ID Cards
- and more!
Parking at the venue is limited, so please carpool where possible.
