SPROWT Offers Free Workshops for Tweens and Teens in Renton

From cooking to crocheting, workshops offer fun learning experiences on Saturday mornings

Have you heard? Teens and tweens can take free SPROWT Workshops in Renton! If you live in or near Renton, this is a fun opportunity for kids to learn everything from cooking to crocheting, and from time management to homework tips. Presented by Fairwood Community United Methodist Church, the SPROWT Workshops are a non-religious program. Each month has a new theme, and kids in grades 6 to 12 can sign up in advance to save a space. Register for this month's workshop here.

Workshops are 100% free, food is provided, and a comfortable space for parents to hang out is available. SPROWT is an inclusive program that welcomes youth and families of all gender identities and expressions. Please know you are valued and safe!

Explore new hobbies and learn new skills that will lead to success in school today and college or the workforce tomorrow. This non-religious program offers a fun mix of monthly workshops covering topics like basic cooking, money management, photography, basic first aid, finding money for college, learning to play chess, crochet, and much more.
