Description
Seattle Japanese Garden is a 3.5-acre urban sanctuary. Winding gravel paths and stone benches invite you to view the garden slowly and mindfully in all its detail—rock, water, lanterns, bridges, buildings, plants, and animals. Seasonal changes are constant, and every visit is refreshingly unique.
Free First Thursday
Admission to the garden is free on the first Thursday of every month.
Free Guided Tours
Tuesday - Friday: 11 am & 1 pm
(*1st Thursday: 1 pm only )
1st Saturday of each month: 1 pm
Dedicated volunteer guides look forward to sharing the history and horticulture of the garden with you.
Admission
With the exception of the free first Thursday, admission is:
Adults 18-64: $10
Youths 6-17, Senior Adults (65+), Students (with valid ID), Adaptive, Military: $6
Children 0-5: FREE
The garden is open Tuesday through Sunday, with seasonal changes in hours.
