Fireworks and festivals in Bellevue, Renton, Tukwila and across the Eastside are aplenty throughout summer 2024. Whether you're searching for Fourth of July fireworks in Bellevue, drones in the park in Newcastle, or family fun in Renton, you've come to the right place. Here's our round up of fireworks and festivals this summer. Click the event links for more details, including parking. Unless otherwise stated, all events are FREE.

Bellevue Beats & Bites Music Series

Free lunchtime outdoor concerts are back in the heart of Bellevue! From June 5 to August 15, enjoy live music and must-try food trucks at various open spaces and plazas in Downtown. Check our calendar to see which local musicians and food trucks you can look forward to this summer. 

Family Fourth of July in SeaTac

Bouncy houses, slides, obstacle courses, live music and a drone show... it's all free and fun for kids at the Family Fourth of July in SeaTac at Angle Lake Park! The children's activities and live entertainment begin at noon. The drone show will start at approximately 9:45 pm. 200 drones will light up the night sky, in a captivating areal display, performing an illuminated, synchronized show. 

Fairwood Market Night

Don't miss the fun in Fairwood on the second Wednesday night of each month: 4 pm to 8 pm at Northwood Middle School. The event features over 75 vendors, a variety of food trucks, music and dance performances. It specializes in offering a wide variety of artisan crafts and food, such as Stickman Leather, Blue Barn Kettle Corn, Sizan Skincare, Salt Blade Meats and Plantasia NW. 

Bellevue Family 4th of July

The Bellevue Family 4th returns to Bellevue returns to Bellevue Downtown Park for its 32nd year in the Heart of Bellevue on Thursday, July 4, 2024. Beginning at 5 pm, enjoy free live performances, family-friendly activities, food trucks, and more. The evening leads up to an extravagant firework display at 10:05 pm synchronized to a performance from the Bellevue Youth Symphony Orchestra.

Newcastle's Fireworks on the Lake: July 6

Head to Lake Boren Park on Saturday, July 6 for music, food and fireworks. More popular than ever, Newcastle's Fireworks on the Lake event opens with food trucks and live music from community-favorite Soul Siren. Be sure to stick around for the grand finale - our one-of-a-kind fireworks show over beautiful Lake Boren. Festivities run from 6 pm to 10:30 pm.

Redmond Derby Days: July 12 and 13

Mark your calendars for the return of Redmond’s beloved summer tradition and signature summer event, Derby Days. The two-day festival will be held on July 12 and 13 at the Redmond City Hall campus and feature bicycle races at the Jerry Baker Memorial Velodrome. Whether you like festive parades, bicycle races, live music, a variety of delicious foods, carnival rides, or a craft market, Derby Days has something for everyone. An impressive display of lights featuring more than 100 drones above Municipal Campus provides a fantastic finish to the weekend. 

PolyFest: July 20

The PolyFest at Renton Memorial Stadium is a vibrant celebration of the rich and diverse cultures of the Pacific Islands. This festival is a showcase of the unique traditions, customs, and arts of Polynesia, which includes countries like Samoa, Tonga, Fiji, and Hawaii. The festival features a variety of performances, including traditional dances, music, and storytelling, highlighting the cultural heritage of the Polynesian people.

Newcastle Commons Art Fair: July 20

Art enthusiasts, families, and neighbors across the greater Seattle and Eastside areas are invited to visit Newcastle, WA for the 4th annual Newcastle Commons Art Fair on Saturday, July 20, 2024. This free event is becoming a summertime tradition in Newcastle. From fine art and home decor, to fashion and accessories for adults, children, and pets, more than 30 artists from our local area will be selling their unique creations and sharing their artistic talents. 

Bellevue Arts Museum Arts Fair - Kids Fair: July 26, 27 and 28

This isn’t just for grownups! Kids and their families are invited to join us at the Museum for a fun weekend of hands-on art projects, games, and gallery activities. All are welcome, but most stations are best-suited for ages 3-10 from 11 am to 5 pm. 

Bellevue Arts Museum hosts the largest award-winning arts & crafts festival in the Northwest. We are committed to handmade excellence and supporting national designers, artists, and craftspeople. Shop from over 300 inspiring artists showcasing unique, handmade craft and art. This marketplace represents modern, traditional, and emerging work. 

Renton River Days: July 26, 27 and 28

Renton River Days is a beloved and community-inspired festival that unites the diverse and ever-growing residents of Renton. On Friday, July 26, 200 drones will light up the night sky as part of the 39th annual Renton River Days event kickoff.

Prepare for an exciting lineup of activities, including the Senior Day Picnic, golf tournament, drone show, parade, Summer Arts & Crafts Bazaar, Activity Zone, live entertainment, and the Renton Foodie Fest.

NIA Fest in Skyway: July 27

Join community members working together to bring a festival of joy and unity at the 2nd Annual Skyway NIA Festival! More details coming soon.

First Annual Tukwila Hullabaloo: August 17

Join this vibrant community festival in Tukwila that celebrates our unity with entertainment, delicious food, unique art and craft vendors, and fun games for all ages. It’s a day to embrace the spirit of our community and create unforgettable memories together! Joseph Foster Memorial Park: 11 am to 3 pm.

Washington Iu Mien Festival: August 24

Join the 2nd Washington Iu Mien Festival at Lake Sammamish State Park on August 24, 2024 for food, performances, vendors, fashion, art and children's activities!

Annual or One Day Discover Pass is required for vehicle access. Discover Passes are available online and at park entrance.

Flavors of India: August 31 and September 1

Two day festival featuring the rich and vibrant culture of India at Crossroads Community Park. The Flavors of India event is sponsored by Vedic Cultural Center.
