We’re an education consulting organization committed to guiding students and families to succeed at every stage of their education. While we’re based in the greater Seattle area, we work with families all over the United States, providing personalized support from early learning to college admissions and everything in between.
At the heart of BrightSpot Labs is Antonietta, a seasoned educator with over two decades of experience whose extensive background shapes the way we approach education consulting. Antonietta began her career working with families of the Pascua Yaqui Tribe in Tucson, AZ, helping them navigate their public school experiences and advocating for their educational needs. This work deepened her understanding of the importance of building strong relationships with students and families, a lesson she carried into her role as a high school teacher. In the classroom, teaching Language Arts and U.S. Government and Politics, she discovered the profound impact of connecting with each student, recognizing their unique talents and challenges, and guiding them through both academic and personal growth.
This understanding of the power of relationships became the cornerstone of her work as she scaled her efforts beyond the classroom, taking on roles that allowed her to shape educational strategies and initiatives in both public and private sectors. Her experiences as both an educator and a parent deeply inform BrightSpot Labs' philosophy and commitment to meeting the diverse needs of students and families.
Building on these foundations, BrightSpot Labs offers a range of services designed to support students, parents, and educators. Our workshops for parents and caregivers provide practical strategies to help create a supportive learning environment at home. For students, we offer comprehensive guidance on college admissions, from exploring career options and choosing the right college to crafting compelling application essays. Our coaching and professional development programs also provide essential resources for educators and families who want to help young people reach their full potential.

We’re also active in our local community, collaborating with the Family First Community Center, the Renton Chamber of Commerce, and the King County Library System to bring impactful programs to families. Through our partnership with ScholarMatch, a national non-profit organization that supports students throughout the United States, we help underserved youth in achieving their college goals.
